| Daylily
growers are becoming more and more common as gardeners are realizing
more about the beautiful flowers. The number of gardens that
contain daylilies is rising dramatically as the flowers are
having more and more hybrids made with bolder and more striking
colors. Hybridizers in America and Europe have been combining
these lovely plants since the early 1930’s. |
Many
local nurseries and garden centers are beginning to carry
more daylilies each year. As the demand for more of these
plants in different colors is being made, general-purpose
flower stores are becoming less capable of supplying enough
plants. For this reason, specialized daylily growers and hybridists
are appearing to help ease the demand, as well as make new
and more exciting flowers.
Daylily
growers experimenting with creating new hybrid species that
have very different colored blooms of all sizes and shapes
are becoming more common. Specialized daylily growers will
often times have a much greater selection of plants than will
general purpose retailers. Daylily growers will often times
have plants of better quality due to the fact that they have
been able to experiment with different growing conditions
and find combinations that work much better than others.

| Daylily
growers are cropping up all over the world. There are daylily
growers in America, Europe, and Asia, with most of the hybridists
being in America and Europe. The high demand of daylily plants,
which is still growing, helps to fuel the need for more daylily
growers.
